I frequently travel for work and pleasure and take my sketchbook with me wherever I go.
I’m a lover of architecture and have worked for many years in a range of architecture related jobs – architectural illustrator, architectural modelmaker, interior designer, educator, and more recently writer and coach to design professionals (see my sister site for details of my ‘real’ work and my book – Interior Design : A Professional Guide).
My love of drawing was kick-started again in 2014 after ten days drawing in Morocco with a group of San Franciscan based artists – we had a ball! Then I discovered the Urban Sketchers community, but have yet to get to a symposium – it’s on my wish list.
I draw from life in a sketchbook mainly in pen, watercolour and colour pencil. Subjects are the details of my daily life, architecture and my family of five Jack Russells, and of course current sketching equipment obsessions. There’s more on my instagram page.
Please send me an email if you would like to collaborate or commission an illustration. Thanks for visiting!
Boring, but I need to say it – all the drawings on this site are by me, unless specifically credited to someone else. I reserve all rights regarding their usage. Please don’t use them or reproduce them, either digitally or in print, without contacting me first…thanks very much.
